How to make Cronuts with only 6 ingredients

This is our idea on how to make the infamous Cronuts ahem I mean Dossant, a mixture between a croissant and a doughnut. We live in London, UK will never get to try one so we decided to have a go making it ourselves.

Its a very simple, no skills required recipe that anyone can do and only has 6 ingredients Its super delish although not sugary enough for my very sweet-toothed sister (she added extra sugar)


  • Egg
  • Puff Pastry
  • Vanilla Cream (or Custard)
  • Icing Sugar
  • Food Colouring and Sprinkles


  • Rolling Pin
  • Icing bag
  • Injection Nozzle
  • Doughnut Cutter

For a lighter finish fry it for a bit longer till fully cooked and don’t put it in the oven at all. I got a lot of help from my older sister and best friend who are both bakers.

We have no idea what the official recipe or recipes are, this is just us sisters having a bit of fun and experimentation and trying to bring some of that great New York food to our bellies.
