  • 50g granulated sugar
  • 1tbsp water
  • 1tbspHot water
  • 2 Bananas
  • 1Egg(large)(room temperature)
  • 40g granulated sugar
  • 50g Cake flour
  • 40gMelted butter

butter(as needed)


  1. Preheat oven to 338 °F/170℃ and butter a 5.9inch (15cm) round cake pan and set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, add the sugar and water, allow sugar to cook until it begins to brown.
  3. turn off the heat and add hot water.
  4. Pour caramel sauce into the cake pan and place the bananas onto the pan.
  5. Crack an egg into a bowl and add sugar.
    1. Egg and confectioner's sugar with a mixer for 3 minutes until light and fluffy.
  6. Add sifted cake flour. Mix it with a rubber spatula.
  7. Add melted butter, mix
  8. pour cake batter into the cake pan, smooth the top to spread evenly.
  9. Bake it for 28 min at 338 °F/170℃
  10. Let cool for 30 minutes.
    1. Invert cake onto a plate.
    2. with ice cream on top!
