Easy Gold Macaron Communion Drip Cake Tutorial

Easy Gold Macaron Communion Drip Cake is on the menu in Book recipe, and we are going to teach you how to make this delicious recipe.

One of the cakes for my friends this weekend! Making gold macarons is so easy. The trick really is to make sure the base colour of your macarons are as close to yellow / gold as possible. This will make the gold show through a little better than other colours.

I used black gel food colour here as well, and you can create a black frosting by adding gel food colour to buttercream or to the ganache.

The ganache will be dark as a base already, so you wouldn’t need to add as much black gel food color. Some people may be concerned about how it might taste or stain your teeth/mouth. I recommend leaving this black buttercream for the outside decoration of the cake only, and no use it for the filling. People are less likely to eat the outside of the cake anyway, the main focus is the sponge and the frosting inside.
